Amundsen Companies is dedicated to making the multi-faceted process of designing and building your single or multi-family home a low stress operation for our clients. We virtually assume the responsibility of the logistics associated with the project as well as the phases of construction.

Loan Financing Support: We will meet with bank officials with whom we have trusted relationships in order to secure the project financing you require. If you have a bank with whom you do business already, we will also work with them. Note that prior to building activities, loan approval must be secured.

Permitting: We are aware of the NH Building Codes, and we work with your city or town's officials and boards to garner approvals for the various components of a project. From zoning boards to building inspectors and conservation commissions, our clients are essentially relieved from experiencing the long waits and revisions that are often part of the building process.

Land Preparation: If you require that your plot be cleared of an existing home, we will execute that phase of the project on your behalf. Amundsen will salvage individual building materials when possible, as well as recycle a majority of them through traditional outlets.

We then build your new home or add to an existing one from the customized modular sections. Great service dictates that we provide you with a complete home so you can move in and start enjoying it.


Green Building Capabilities

New England Homes boasts one of the first Green Certified modular homes in the U.S. In the future, this page will include more information about the green specifications that can can be implemented in your design.

Note that a modular home is a more environmentally friendly building from the start, however. Each section uses only the necessary amount of natural resources, with far less waste than on-site construction projects.
